This spacious Helmsley holiday cottage comprises of two lounge areas housing charm-filled woodburners and underfloor heating, a large conservatory used as a dining room, the kitchen has a large american style fridge freezer with a breakfast bar and large rangemaster cooker.
Upstairs there are four bedrooms two doubles, one twin and bunk beds, there is also a separate shower room, a separate WC and a fully fitted bathroom.
The garden can be accessed via patio doors from the lounge, or the conservatory.

This property is ideally located for the both thee Michelin Star restaurants in the area – the Star Inn Harome & the Black Swan Oldstead (booking essential). It is also close to Flamingo Land, Castle Howard, Scarborough, Whitby, the North Yorks Moors Railway & also Castles, Abbeys (Rievaulx, Byland, Ampleforth) and many other local places of interest.
The lovely market place is an easy 5 minute walk from the property, there are lovely tea rooms, cafes, pubs, Italian & Indian restaurants. In the other direction, over the sports field is the open air Helmsley Swimming Pool, there is also the kids playground and some super walks up into Ashdale Woods. The property is located in a quiet Cul-de- sac on the outskirts of Helmsley, it is far enough away from the hustle & bustle but near enough to walk down and be part of it, or travel ten minutes the other way and you can be onto the North Yorkshire Moors. Exact location provided on booking.
Getting Around
Buses leave Helmsley Market place regularly to the Moors, the coast, or the city of York. The closest train station is Thirsk which is approx 20 miles away or York station which approx 30 miles away. There are a number of taxi services operate out of town.
